Biography

Milly Winter is a Warwickshire-based singer/songwriter. Her songs are a musical diary, blending many eras and genres to form a concoction of reggae, pop, folk and soul. The result is a quirky and catchy groove. Her songs are impossible not to tap your foot to and instantly sing-along-able.

In October 2014, Milly released her third EP, "By The River" along with a Victorian, Gothic themed launch night and a double length hammer horror film, incorporating two songs from the EP.

November 2010 saw the release of Milly's debut EP 'Milly Winter', which was produced by Grammy and Emmy award winning producer, Kipper Eldridge (who is responsible for Sting's solo work). Singles from that EP are available on iTunes.

In 2011, Milly was named 'Band of the Month' on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire radio. She played the BBC Introducing stage with her band at Wychwood Festival as a result. Milly went a tour of the UK in Caffe Neros throughout June 2011, culminating in playing with her band at the Cornbury Festival.

Milly's songs “Rainbow”, "Going Under" and "Smaller" were featured on Channel 4's Hollyoaks. She played a session at BBC Radio London, including and interview.

Her second EP "Funny Feeling" was launched in December 2013 with a 1930s themes launch party. She released a 1930s themed video for "Betty Said", taken from that EP.

Throughout 2014, Milly played, with her band at various festivals and London and Midlands venues.

She is a real crowd pleaser and continues to expand her fanbase.
